R2sports Screen Shots: Making Challenges

Challenge Opponent

After viewing available challenges and clicking on CHALLENGE next to an opponent, you will land on the page where you request a location and time for the match.

At the top of the page it will show the competitors that will be in the challenge along with their current rank, photo if one has been uploaded during the online registration, and the city and state in which the players are from.

For each request, a location and date have to be entered, along with a range of the earliest and latest starting time for the match. A comments field is also available to send any type of message to the opponent.

In the ladder challenge settings, the director sets the maximum number of days allowed in order to set a date to play the match, and also chooses the number of days in which the opponent has to respond before receiving a forfeit due to no-response email. The person making the challenge can always cancel it with no penalty.

After reviewing the information, click the Submit Challenge Request link to finalizing making the challenge. This will trigger the respond to new challenge email to be sent to the opponent.

Then wait for an automated email, you will either receive a forfeit if there is no response within the time period, or you will receive an acceptance notification email after the opponent accepts the challenge request.
